The College was established by the Malikiya Group of Jurisprudence on the request of Bauchi state government vide its letter reference: MOH/ADM/392/V/1/7 of 15th January 2014 seeking to bring the private sector to partner with them to build additional Health Institutions in the state to fill the gap of manpower shortage in government hospitals. Over the years, partnerships between the public and private sectors have become common strategies for responding to the global public health crises of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria at both the national and international levels.

.OUR PARTNERSHIP
Through these Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), partners from multiple sectors combine skills, expertise and resources to implement programmes larger in scope than the reach of individual partners. Many partnerships have been highly successful and rewarding to both parties, particularly the general public. One of such successes is the establishment of the Malikiya College, which is built to help the government achieve its
manpower needs in the health sector.
.AFFILIATION
The College intends to offer courses in all Health and Social Sciences and affiliate with Universities at home and abroad to run full medical courses to produce Medical Doctors and other health professionals in the future. In addition to the school’s owned hospital we have signed an MOU with the Bauchi State Ministry of Health and other health facilities within the country to use their hospitals and clinics for practical training of our students.
.OUR REGULATIONS
Malikiya College of Health Sciences is a Private Institution and is designed to run in accordance with the guidelines of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and other appropriate Health Regulatory Bodies includes in Nigeria.
The school is located at number 9 Gombe Road off Sokoto road GRA Bauchi, Bauchi state. Its own a total Land area of two hectares GRA Campus, in addition to proposed 50 hectares Bayara Campus located at the outskirt of Bauchi metropolis.

The College and the Hospital attached to it are Islamic faith based. In all humbleness, the two institutions will exercise justice, love and compassion to one and all, to rich and poor, regardless of race, religion or gender; to maintain the dignity of the health profession and to honour the teachers, students and medical personnel in the hospital and to strive to impact knowledge and offer standard services for the benefit of mankind.
